What in the World!

It has been a long time since my last blog. I have tried to blog several times in the past month but so much has happened and I have so many thoughts that I can't seem to put it all into words.

Puerto Rico was awesome! Wonderful people, great times, beautiful beaches, warm weather and best of all Hannah! I can't explain the experience in mere words but it was life changing for our family in so many ways. The life changing has not stopped yet. I know I am going to sound bi-polar here concidering my last post but we came home and changed Churches. It was not something we planned. It was not something we even concidered. It just happened. Let me try to explain. Sometimes it takes getting out of your comfort zone to see what might be wrong with your comfort zone. We stepped out in Puerto Rico and we stepped out and went to a Good Friday service at Grace Bible Chruch. After stepping out we didn't want to go back. We really feel God's leading in our lives loud and clear. So there you have it. Now we are seeking God to show us who we are appart from the Mennonite Church. What we really believe and what we just accepted because they said so. We feel we have found a wonderful group of people at Grace that are accepting of us during this time.

We have a wonderful sense of peace and we feel excited where God will take us now.
Like I said last post, what a ride!

Wishing you God's rich blessings in your new church experience! I've discovered that every church has strengths that we can learn from. I've occasionally attended Bible churches for their in depth, beautiful examination of scriptures and their emphasis on the Word. Mennonites emphasize community, brotherhood and some very practical Christian living. Baptist churches emphasize reaching a lost world for Christ. Through all the churches I've been to though, one of the common threads that remains is that our identity is in Christ. Not in any particular group of people or culture or subcategory of Christianity. In Christ Alone!

Wishing you God's rich blessing as you pursue Him and His Truth. You have all been a wonderful part of my life and of my family's life, and I trust will continue to be so. Keep God #1, and He will guide you in the path He has for you. Love, Hannah
